our vision
For centuries, meaningful learning began with curiosity, conversation, observation and exploration. Learning was never meant to remain confined to books alone. From the Gurukul tradition of experiencing knowledge through discovery to today’s hands-on science spaces, Ankuran carries forward the same spirit of learning — reimagined through modern tools, technology and experiential education for a new generation of thinkers.

Ankuran aims to bridge the gap between traditional textbook-based education and practical experience-driven learning by establishing a nationwide network of self-sustaining Science Centres.
WHY THIS APPROACH matters
Ankuran Foundation aspires to establish Science Centres in each of India’s 797 districts by 2030 and, over time, in every block nationwide. Ankuran implements a unique approach that ensures that every centre is tailored to its community while maintaining high standards of learning and engagement.The foundation provides ongoing support to enhance the learning environment, ensuring it remains dynamic and relevant for today’s students.
