Science That Reaches Every Classroom
Students do not just read about science here. They set up the experiment, make the measurement and explain what they see, one step at a time, through ERTA: Explore, Reflect, Theory, Apply.
As with every Ankuran Centre, the working hours are set aside first for government and government-aidedd school students, so that hands-on science reaches the children who have the least access to it.

The Madurai Municipal Corporation has granted students and teachers of the Corporation schools free access to the Ankuran Science Center. Every Corporation school student in the city is welcome to experience hands-on science here at no cost.

Ankuran Madurai works with more than twenty government and government-aided schools across the city. Each partner school brings its classes to the Centre on a regular schedule, so that students learn science by doing it, week after week.
